Excellence Scholarships - For outstanding emerging talent. For business, science and society
Our country relies on first-class professionals. The Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) encourages outstanding young people from Switzerland and around the world to complete their Master’s degree at ETH Zurich. Every year, it provides support to talented individuals in the top 2 to 3 percent of their year group. They receive a scholarship of CHF 48,000 that covers their study and living costs for the whole Master’s programme. The interdisciplinary exchange with similarly-aged students who are equally outstanding in their fields motivates the scholarship recipients to achieve their best, and also gives them a head start on creating a network within the scientific community. The programme is fully funded by donations.
